“On June 21, 2025, I, Dorothy Louise (Schumacher) Berg, age 99 (52 days shy of being 100), of the City of Sevastopol, left this world to affix my husband, Ralph Berg, our youngest daughter, Laurie Connell, my dad and mom, and lots of different kinfolk and mates.
My funeral service will probably be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Sturgeon Bay United Methodist, 836 Michigan Avenue, with Pastor JoAnn Meyer and Pastor David Leistra officiating. I will probably be laid to relaxation in Schumacher Cemetery, beside my husband, Ralph.
Visitation will held from 5 till 7 pm on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Huehns Funeral Residence, 1414 Michigan Avenue, Sturgeon Bay and can proceed on the church on Wednesday from 9:45 am till 10:45 am.
Memorials made be given in my reminiscence for the Sturgeon Bay United Methodist Church Parish Nurse Program (836 Michigan Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235; sturgeonbayumc.org); or the Door County Land Belief (P.O. Field 65, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235; doorcountylandtrust.org).

Be aware from my daughter, Sue: My mom loved assembly and speaking to folks. There are a number of individuals who she actually has loved being with these previous years. I’d like to say some and apologize to those that I would miss: Jean, Joyce, Donna, Linda, Julie, Jamie, Karen, Marty, Anika, Lars, Danny, Mike, the entire Haberli youngsters, and the entire individuals who took care of my mom these previous 5 years. She loved all of you.
