After a two-year hiatus from fielding a workforce, the Ahnapee Trailblazers returned to American Legion baseball with a 9-6 victory over Mishicot in Monday’s season opener at Sturgeon Bay’s Memorial Subject.
The Trailblazers, who embody gamers from the Sevastopol, Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay college districts in Door County in addition to the Algoma district in Kewaunee County, broke open a scoreless tie with six runs within the backside of the second.
